Vogue Paris Oct. 2013-Viva la 80s

Since Carine Roitfeld gone, Vogue Paris has been a French version of Vogue US. Emmanuelle Alt is talented but her Vogue Paris is not really outstanding. Finally, October issue is the first one that i really like.

At first i thought the cover was awful. It remained me of the 80's singer with her dance music video plus it was shot by Mario Testino. I'm tired of his works for Vogue US therefore i didn't expect much from him in this issue.

And... i was wrong, he did an amazing job this time. The main editorial is spectacular! Although it's very "Helmut Newton", beautiful glamorous women show off her down-to-earth bodies and expensive jewelries. I can't deny the beauties of Edita and Anja. That's the main reason i love this editorial. Anja really remains me of the girl who appears in the song "Bette Davis eyes" by Kim Carnes.

But it is not the end. The other editorials are so good as well as "French Riviera". But good doesn't mean exellent. They just recycle the old ideas with new models, new clothes.
