Fascinating Issue No.6-World, hold on!

"Save the best for last"!

I proudly to introduce you, all my readers my magazine Fascinating issue No.6. This is the best issue i have ever done so far. From the cover, fan-made ad campaigns, the page lay out to the contents... i'm proud of everything! By the issue title "World, hold on!" i want to show you how fast the 21st century fashion is running and its dark sides.

I would like to thank all my contributors who helped me to finish this issue and all the feedback since the day i launched the magazine. However i still feel the flaws which only you, my readers can see. I hope to hear all of your comments and feedbacks to make me and the magazine better.

And finally, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Chanel Paris-Dallas Pre-fall 2014

First of all i have to congratulate Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld! Highly attention, that's the thing which they hadn't had in years.

Like the other pre-fall and resort collections they travel around the world, choose a place and make a collection with full of tweed, suits, drop waist garments with the specific culture of the place they chose. Hmmm... interesting right?

This time they chose Dallas and The theme was cowboys and the indians, now here we go!

1. The clothes themselves are beyond hideous, lost in time, costume look alike. It became an endless nightmare when the collection has more than 90 looks. Incredible and terrible at the same time.

2. The theme Karl chose this time is way to sensitive. Cowboys and Native Americans in Dallas-USA? Really? I know this is not easy to use an specific culture in design especially when it's about politic and history. If you don't know the history of the American Indian wars, google it and you know why this collection is offensive.

3. The Feathered headdress. In Native American culture, only the leader of the tribe has the right to wear it. It means honor. If you remember the Victoria's secret scandal last year when Karlie Kloss wore the feathered headdress on stage, the reactions of the community were the same with this Chanel's situation.

After a few days of the show, there have been a lot of debate about this, and Chanel has just gave a "sorry we're not sorry" apology:

"The Chanel-Dallas Metiers d'Art 2013/2014 collection is a celebration of the beauty of Texas. Native Americans are an integral part of Texas's rich history and culture and the feather headdress, a symbol of strength and bravery, is one of the most visually stunning examples of the creativity and craftsmanship they possessed. We deeply/ sincerely apologize if it has been misinterpreted or if it is seen as offensive as it was really meant as a tribute to the beauty of craftmanship."

Not offensive enough? see the gun on the accesories and what the kid hold in his hand.
